MKF

MKF is a 12 member Australian band created by Mahmood Khan. They recorded their live debut album at the Sydney Opera House on March 14th 2009 and within a matter of months achieved secure ground in the music world. Their first single, Like the River made its debut at number 3 on the ARIA charts and moved on to become a No.1 Hit in the ARIA physical sales charts!

MKF is headed by legendary singer/songwriter Mahmood Khan known for his work with world renowned Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and has now become the first singer/songwriter from the Indian Sub-Continent to have gained a No.1 position on the Australian Pop charts. This not only marks a historical milestone for Australian and Indian music history, but also sets the stage for the new music genre, 'World/Pop'.
